You get Big D vs DJ BC's, Strictly Mixed and Mashed, which is Big D and the Kids Table as you've never heard them. Strictly Mixed and Mashed, marks a new level of experimentation for a band that is known for doing unusual releases including a gansta rap album and a Halloween themed reggae EP. DJ BC got a hold of Big D's entire catalog and put them through his digital ringer. He transformed the band's classic songs into upbeat urban dance tunes. From Punk turned Techno to Dub turned Ragga, BC's work is nothing less than phenomenal. In December of 2007 DJ BC was awarded a Boston Music Award for his outstanding remix of Dave's Shiny New Rap. This CD is nothing short of amazing offering a fresh way to listen to some of Big D's classic songs such as Shining On, LAX, and Try Out Your Voice. To make the record even cooler we've added a couple a capella tracks at the end of the CD to give everyone the chance to beat a DJ BC at his own game.
